By providing more calories from protein and fat (and fewer from carbohydrates), ORIJEN Cat & Kitten distributes calories to mirror the natural feline diet, reducing the risk of obesity and diabetes. Metabolizable Energy is 4060 kcal/kg (463 kcal per 250ml/130g cup) with calories distributed to support peak conditioning; 39% from protein, 17% from vegetables and fruit, and 44% from fat.

TRANSITIONAL FEEDING
A gradual incorporation of new food helps prevent any stomach upsets. Adding the new diet in 25% increments can make the transition to a new diet smooth and comfortable.
